Another day, another morning awake at an ungodly hour. Today, it was an odd combination of pain/weird dreams/outside noises. Fortunately,it didn't wake Jess up. A small nuke going off wouldn't wake Jess up.
I took drugs, in the hopes of actually going back to sleep at some point. Which is pretty much my mornings. I wake up at ass o'clock, then, I go back to bed at 7:30ish, and sleep til nine. Today, maybe til 10, since I've been up since 4.
I feel thoroughly unproductive and bleh. Have appt with pain management next Wednesday. I need something different than what I'm on, because this sucks. If I mainline anymore tylenol, my liver's just going to come flopping out when I cough, I swear. I don't even care. Shoot me up with more lidocane, or Botox, or whatever. I am so sick of hurting.
In cheerier news, we have a new addition. Jess co-worker's kid brought home a rat, and the co-worker freaked out. So, we has a new little rat named Mercy. She seems very sweet, despite being a petshop rat. We're hoping that we can tame her, so she'll be like the boys were.
Last night we spent carefully scooping pine shavings out of the cage, so we could put in good litter that won't make her sick. People are such dumbasses, not reading up on the animal they get. Now she has a fluffy layer of the good paper based bedding, and some tasty treats.
Once she's a little more settled in, I will take pictures for all to see.
