Yesterday was a long fucking day. I was having a fibro flare that was making everything hurt. Especially my legs, weirdly. My calf was just aching for no apparent reason. Usually, I can forget that I have fibro and stenosis, but once in a while my body just decides to remind me. I of course, responded by going out to get lunch and dinner. Because I couldn't just do delivery like a smart person.
This of course, meant going out with the cicadas, which involved a lot of flinching back from the ones on the railing and generally being unhappy about them invading my space. A small whimper may have been let out when the one next to me started fluttering like it was going to take off directly into me. It's funny, I don't generally mind bugs, but the cicadas just are freaking me out this year.
Today, I have plans to go to the nearby Asian market because I am craving some red bean paste buns. Also I want to pick up some sauces. I'm planning to make stir fry next week, and I have nothing aside from soy in the house.
I've been watching videos of a Korean woman living in Stockholm, and a good 50% of her feed is food porn. I really want to try making some of it for myself, though with a little less red pepper. I am a wuss when it comes to spicy food.
Also we need to pick up more Nutrical for Sam. It's a nutritional supplement for kitties, and between that, and making his pate food into a slurry, it really seems to be satiating his hunger. He's not screaming at us anymore for food every five minutes, now that we're feeding on demand. Jess think's he's already started to put on some weight after four days of this, so we'll see how it goes.
