beansideI tried a new thing this morning. I put the Rybelsus in my purse, so when I woke up at 5:15am, I took it. It meant that when I got up, I only had to wait a few minutes before I could have coffee. I think I will continue to do that.
Coffee is important. I need all the coffee today. Which is weird, since I slept pretty well. Go figure.
Dad behaved himself yesterday, so that was nice. I wonder sometimes if I bitch about he and my sister more than they deserve. It's not their fault that I'm having some burnout. Things might not bother me quite as much otherwise.
I checked on my application for the Quality position. It's "being reviewed." As I believe I've said, I'm not the most patient person. The posting is still open, so they may wait til it closes to start interviews.
My boss was back yesterday, and called me just to check in. Apparently, he had a knee injury that was preventing him from sitting or standing, which does not sound like fun at all.
I'm waiting for either pair of new glasses to come in. I found two relatively cute pairs, one from MyEyeDr where I went for the exam and one from Zenni Optical. I don't know which one will be my normal wear ones. On one hand, the Zenni's are Transition lenses, but on the other, I might like the MyEyeDr ones better. We'll see how they look and feel on my face, I suppose. Now they just. Need. To come in! As I said two paragraphs ago, I'm not patient. The Zenni's will probably take at least two weeks to get here. And apparently, the Michael Kors frame I picked from MyEyeDr is not one they keep in stock, so it may take a while as well. I wish there was a portal for that like Zenni, where I could see what's going on with it. I'm used to the age of Amazon, where I can track things down to the minute detail of what's happening.
Okay, I've had my second cup of coffee now, and I'm feeling a little more motivated. Time to do a Swedish lesson and move on with my day.
