beansideMy motivation never showed up yesterday. Added to that, I started with a mid-level headache, and I finally said screw it about noon and left early. I'm calling it a mental health day. I probably shouldn't have, but I can't bring myself to feel that bad about it.
As usual, on the day that I could sleep in as late as I want, I was up at 6:30. Which, granted, is half an hour later than I normally sleep. I'll be yawning by noon. Maybe the puppers and I will take a nap this afternoon.
Not a whole lot going on today, aside from D&D tonight.
The foxes are back, playing tag in the backyard. It's very cute. We live up against a small wooded strip, and it's just enough that the wildlife shows up now and then. We have a herd of deer that visit now and again, raccoons, and the occasional possum. Yoda does not like the deer. I think he sees them as big dogs, and they are on his property. When they show up, he gets so aggro, barking and kicking his feet. On a 25lb dog, it's kind of adorable. I love the kicky feet.
Today, Dad has a doctors appointment, which is annoying. I haven't gotten him out for the bloodwork, which I'm sure she's going to bitch about, but everyone has been having Covid shot reactions, and I just haven't been up to hauling him around. It ain't going to be next week, either. He's got a podiatrist appointment, and I try to limit it to one appointment a week for my back's sake.
At some point in the next month, I need to get my own ass out for bloodwork, though I will probably wait til closer to my appointment. I want to give the Rybelsus as much time to work on my A1C as I can, so I'll hear less bitching from the doctor. It's definitely brought my sugar down, so my A1C should look much better in a couple of months.
D&D tonight! So much excite! And then Monster of the Week tomorrow! Yay!
