I have a headache this morning like whoa. We've got cruddy weather coming today, and the accompanying barometric pressure is not doing nice things for me. I took some ibuprofen, so hopefully it kicks in soon. Of course, thanks to the Rybelsus, I had to wait a little while to take everything, so that's annoying. But now, I'm all drugged up. Wait, that doesn't sound quite right...
I went for my eye exam last night and got a clean bill of health. Instead of dilation, they did a picture of my retina (which still gave me a bit of a headache, but nowhere near as bad). I was a little worried, since my blood sugar had been a bit out of whack before the Rybelsus, but they said everything looked good. I ended up buying new glasses there, in the hopes that they'll come in a little quicker than Zenni or Zeelool. I tried to order a second pair from Zeelool last night, but they must have put a hold on my FSA card, so it wouldn't go through. I'll try again later today.
Next up, I have a physical at the end of June. Assuming I don't wuss out and reschedule again. I really, really hate seeing the doctor. I even like my doctor (aside from his stance on weight loss), I just am really bad when it comes to self care. I need to ask him to put in new orders for what I need to do and just set up the appointments and do it.
We're doing vegetarian week this week, so I have to go to Walmart this afternoon and get some veggie-based crumbles. We're having tacos, so they'll be appropriately disguised. We had spaghetti with chicken last night, and as usual, the chicken tasted less than awesome. It really limits what I can eat, since only beef sometimes tastes right. Some people had said their symptoms improved after the shot, but it seems like this is here to stay. At least I can still handle a good steak. That at least is okay. (I might have cried if steak was ruined).
So, may the Fourth be with you. (Catholics and ex-Catholics: and also with you.) Have a good Tuesday!
