Had a migraine last night. It came up and slapped me right after dinner. I took some ibuprofen and laid down for a little while, but no improvement, so I asked my sister to take care of Dad, and went to bed. I'm still a little tender today, but not actively hurting. Once I can eat something, I'll take more ibuprofen, so hopefully it won't come back.
I have an appointment to get my eyes checked this afternoon. One of the nose pieces fell off my glasses, so it was time. They have a pair of glasses I like, but we'll see how much they'll cost. I may just go to Zenni where I know they'll be relatively cheap. The ones I like from the store are Michael Kors, so they're probably a little pricey, but they're so cute! I'm a sucker for a cat's eye.
I ended up spending my afternoon training people on how to do the project cases. These are new people so they're not that familiar with making cases, so I spent a few hours going over how to set everything up. It meant that not as many got done, but hopefully it means in the future, more will get done since there's more people who can do it. And then it won't be all on me. I'm not expecting miracles. Just as long as they get a few done. But y'know, if I'm going to be a trainer too, I'm going to need a raise.
As of today, I am fully vaccinated! My two week waiting period is done and I am officially free. Not going to do anything except go to the eye doctor, during which I'll probably wear a mask, but I'll know it. Jess' won't be for another week, so it's not like we could do anything until then. But in two weeks, dinner out on Friday!
Everyone have a good Monday! I hope it's not too painful!
