Of course, I jinxed myself regarding the cold. I felt kinda crappy the last two days again, but yesterday afternoon, I started with a fever, and feeling kinda assy last night, so I had to suck it up and take the antibiotics. I really, really hate antibiotics. Yeast infection, here I come. I live a glamorous life.

So, I actually sent out a request for a quote to two bus/tour rental companies regarding Wincon. I found two that had ADA compatible smaller buses/limos for reasonable prices. I'm also going to see if there's any decent restaurants that we could hit that would give a group rate for dinner. The info I found said that buses rent in 5 hour increments normally, so we might as well use it! If they'll go for a lesser rental time, that's cool too. Maybe we can find an all you can eat buffet that isn't all seafood. (Otherwise, I'd totally check out the Phillips Harborplace, though according to their website, they have fried chicken and other non-seafood things.)

We'll see what we want to do. I'm thinking I'll check around and see how it goes. Hell, if people are interested, we can always start later, and end the tour either downtown, or in Fells Point, which is our bar area, so people can play. We'll figure it out. Hell, we could do a moonlight cruise with snacky food and a cash bar. It all depends on what people want. *grin*

Have you tried taking probiotics? I have the same problem anymore, two days of antibiotics and boom!! But I took probiotics the last time I was on antibiotics for the 5 or 10 days (can't remember which) and it helped to the point that the yeast infection was a lot less and took less time to go away.

I bought the probiotics at the drug store, once opened they must be stored in the fridge and you take one at every meal. I sorta forgot some meals which is maybe why I still got one but i was so happy that it wasn't as bad as before that I'll take any sort of 'win'.

It sucks though, getting better at one end only to deal with something else. I hope it's not too bad for you and that you start to feel better. :) *hugs*

Hey!! I am sorry you are still feeling crappy! Get better hon!

Listen jacks can't take antibiotics either so the dr recommended she take acidolphis when she is on them. Wow it made a BIG difference for her. It comes in a pill and powder form I think. We went with the pills. Give it a try if you can.

Antibiotics help kill of infections, but they kill off everything else good too. As two other have pointed out probiotics really really help. The best one I've ever found (my nutritionist recommended) is Garden of Life's Primal Defense. I suggest taking the caplet, it goes down much smoother than the powder that tastes strong wheat grass *shudder* which may be healthy, but yikes. Anyway here is a direct link Caplet or powder form, I haven't gotten sick from antibiotics once since I started taking these... most vitamin shops carry too :)
Feel better
