beansideFirst off, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who wished Jess and I happy anniversary yesterday! You're all such sweethearts, and we appreciate all the love and support. *hugs*
We had Litha on Sunday, which was nice. I love my coven. It's always nice to get together with them, and the day was perfect--sunny and clear, just right for Midsummers.
While we drove down, Jess and I listened to my Dar Williams CDs. I forget, when I don't listen to them for a while, how much I like her music. It's funny, because in some ways I find her music makes me more aggressive than Met. I'm weird that way.
We went to the Melting Pot for dinner last night, and gorged ourselves on tasty cheese, meat and salad. I love the cheddar cheese fondue with an unnatural passion, and the dressing on the mushroom salad isn't far behind. mmmm... cooked our food in the Mojito style of cooking, which was deeply tasty. *drool* The only downside? No left overs. *sigh* Ah well.
Spent today tidying the office so that when my boss returns, he doesn't pass out. Then again, it's actually looking good, so maybe he'll pass out anyway. Now, I shall go home, and spend quality time with my sweetheart.
We may go see Ella Enchanted tonight, since it's at the cheapo theater, we shall see!
Tomorrow, glorious day off! Yay!
