beansideI really need to stop waking up at two am. It's really fucking annoying. If I get back to sleep, which is not always the case, it's a couple hours later. Today, I dozed back off around four, then woke up for good at five. I'm not overly tired, but I just want eight hours. Or more. I'd take more.
The dog is laying on the sofa, completely covered by a hoodie. He looks like ET, but much cuter. Only his little face is poking out. Purple is definitely his color.
We watched some TV yesterday, but not much. Another episode of the Great Food Truck Race, and Cooking with Cannabis. We bounced hard off America's Next Top Model, as the addition of boys just made the show unpleasant. That and the misgendering of a trans woman model and it was just not happening. We noped out before casting was even done. (Seriously, straight people, you okay? That was just...wow.)
A lot of the day was spent researching cannabis strains to see what Jess would like to try next. The one they picked for their first foray, Northern Lights worked well for anxiety, but was a little too sedating, and made them thorougly unmotivated. We've narrowed it down to a few options. Most promising is Purple Punch which is listed as a writer's best friend. Since one of the complaints about Northern Lights was that it removed urgency from everything, including writing, we have hopes.
I'm enjoying researching the different strains, and it makes me feel helpful. The Good Night pills continue to impress, giving them a good night of sleep. I continue to be a little envious of this.
