I did not want to get up this morning! I could have just rolled over and slept for another hour or so. I may take a nap in a little while, actually.

Yesterday was a long day, but a good one, I think? I had my interview with Davita for Dialysis coordinator, and it turned out to be a really good interview. Even the hiring manager mentioned that she felt like it was a really good interview. So that was nice to hear. The job sounds really interesting and challenging, so if I can get it, I'd be thrilled. They did mention that they're hiring for two positions, one in Baltimore and one in DC. I said DC wasn't out of the question, but it would depend on the offer, really. I looked online and found a mention that DC based coordinators were paid more, so that would definitely be a possibility. I'd hate the commute, but if they make it worth my while, I'd go for it. I'm not sure the range I found for DC is correct, but should I end up on the high end of it, I'd be moving the family down to DC very quickly.

And, as I pointed out, the DC has that "out of area" allure, that after Dad passes, it would make sense for us to move closer to my job, and have some freedom. There are several lovely apartments in Silver Spring or Takoma Park afterall. We could be [personal profile] coyotegestalt and [personal profile] weyrlady's neighbors!

After I finished my interview, I ran Jess up to the rehab, so they could visit with Dad. The weather here was awful, just a torrential downpour and windy as hell, and they weren't comfortable driving in it. It was a fairly quick visit, since the rain and winds were getting worse, and I wasn't really comfortable driving with that.

Today, I have a busy day. I start my interviews with Hopkins at 11:30, and I have another at 2. After that, I have my taste test with McCormick spices, and after that, I have to go see Dad. Then, it's back for dinner, and to get ready for Blades in the Dark. Then, I will crash.

I was going to try to get to Costco for groceries, but that's going to wait til tomorrow. Tomorrow, my interview isn't til 1pm, which means I'll leave at 12. That gives me plenty of time to go forth and do my shopping in the morning.

I thought about it, and of the jobs I'm interviewing for this week, I think the dialysis coordinator would be the top of the list. It just sounds more interesting. But we'll see. Mostly I just need a job. We'll see what comes.

Okay, time for me to consider getting myself dressed, and maybe another cup of coffee. Everyone have a terrific Wednesday!
