Second things second. Congratulations, y'all, you made it through the week!
Yesterday I did very little except obsessively check my professional email every three seconds. Yet no matter how often I checked, no offer letter from Hopkins fell out. I did get an interview on Tuesday with Progressive Insurance, so we'll see how that goes.
I just really need something to do during the days is what it boils down to. I get bored far to easily.
There was one productive thing I did yesterday. I went to the post office and dumped my pile of holiday cards, so people should start getting them soon. Afterwards, I was in need of some coffee to keep me awake through game, so I went to a new place in Towson called The Bun Shop. It's this big coffee shop/performance space. It's obviously near a college. I really liked it, though. If I opened a coffee shop, it would probably look a lot like this one. I got a two Vietnamese coffees and a mushroom and feta bun for myself and a curry turnover for Jess. Both were excellent, and we're thinking about going back today for breakfast.
Last night we had Frostmaiden, which introduced their secondary antagonist and threw some backstory into the mix for good measure. I think when paired with the primary antagonist, and possibly a few mooks, it should be a difficult fight for our heroes. Especially when two of them have legendary actions and get more turns.
Today, we have Monster of the Week, and the climatic battle of this arc is about to commence. I'm looking forward to this game, because it is probably going to be buckwild. It should be a lot of fun.
aside from that, not a whole lot going on in casa beanside. Going to have my coffee and try to wake up. Everyone have an excellent Saturday!
