beansideIt's Wednesday! Which right now means absolutely nothing to me, but it is hump day for people who are currently working Monday through Friday. You're halfway there!
TOday, I have to take all my shit back up to the Dept. of Emergency Services. Which is kind of a shame. A bonfire would be more satisfying. But, since I don't want to be charged for this shitty headset, I will do as commanded. But cupcakes after, so that's good.
My stomachs a little pissy this morning, so I may be going out later than I expected, once it settles down. I guess with all the stress lately, I was due for some tummy issues, so not really shocking.
I decided after years of winging it, I'm going to actually get semi organized for D&D. I'm going to start using note cards with player info on it, so I can stop asking "That's a 19, does that hit?" every time. I figure I'll put the players Armor Class, hit points, passive perception and a few other details, as well as some player info, like what squicks them, because in the past I've forgotten and danced very close to the line and I'd prefer not to do that again.
The cards and binder will be here tomorrow, but alas, the sleeves won't be here until Sunday or Monday, so not in time for the Frostmaiden game on Friday.
We've got a weekend of games this week. I've got Frostmaiden on Friday, Monster of the Week on Saturday, and then I'm playing inpoisontaster's game on Sunday afternoon! So much D&D. Actually, we have a lot of D&D over the holidays, too. Everyone decided to make the Yuletide gay by running games at various points during the season, which should be awesome.
Aside from that, my life is back to being boring, which is good. Boring is nice for a change. 911 was too much drama for me.
Reminder, I put out the cards post yesterday. If you want a holiday card, just let me know! If you commented last year, I've got you, they're going out today. If not, and you want a cute non denominational card, drop me a line.
And now, I shall go forth and maybe try to eat a little something to settle my stomach down. Everyone have a fantabulous Wednesday!
ETA: I totally forgot to add that yesterday, Jess went for their long awaited tattoo. Ronie at Layer3 Collective in Towson was amazing, and took their reference and made it into something gorgeous! Picture below.
