beansideUgh, how is it already Sunday again? Ick. I woke up at 4 and finally dozed back off around 5:15, so the alarm at 6 was entirely unwanted. I felt like I had just snuggled down and gotten all warm and snuggly.
It's going to be a busy week at work, as J & M are both off the whole week, and I'm their backup. This, for anyone counting, means that I'm supposed to do three people's jobs instead of my own shit. I'm of the opinion that I'll get done whatever I can get done. I'm going to try not to stress about it, but it does kind of annoy me. M does nothing but delivery updates, because you can't possibly do anything else. But S and I regularly have other chores to go with it. It'll probably get done because I'm quick, but, c'mon. I am moderately annoyed.
I'm also probably annoyed because it feels like my weekend was a total wash. Aside from going to the dispensary last night and picking up groceries, I did nothing. We had Strahd on Friday, which was awesome, but Saturday was almost entirely watching Dad. Things I did yesterday: Drove my sister up to the bank and the store. Drove to the police station and met up with a chick from Craigslist to sell dad's old travel wheelchair. Got $50. Whoo. Watched Dad while my sister went out to a retirement dinner. Went to the dispensary and to pick up groceries. It just didn't feel like much of a weekend.
Tonight, we have a Monster of the Week game, which is always fun. This is one game that I always take my inhaler before because I will laugh til I wheeze otherwise.
Then we have a week, then we go to Phllly for lunch with some of our friends!! I'm holding that as the carrot on a stick to get me through the week. I'm really excited about getting to spend a few hours out of the house. One friend ispoisontaster who we've known in person for 17 years now. The other is chaneen who we've been playing D&D with for nearly 3 years, but have not met in person! It will be very exciting!
The most annoying thing about Sunday is that it's not technically a "day of business," so I'm not going to hear anything today. Which is obnoxious. I just want to know what is going on.
Okay, time for me to go forth and get ready for work. Everyone have an amazing Sunday!
