beansideYesterday was A. Day. No sooner had I mentioned that dad was being sweet than he went back to being a pain in the ass. He's just well enough that he's bored, but he's stuck in bed, so he's not really able to do anything. So he's being a little grumpy. He had two home health people come in yesterday, PT and OT, so by the end of the day, he was tired, and we were back to the "Oh my god, oh boy." Which as you all know is my absolute favorite. By the time my sister put him to bed, he had graduated up to "Help me." When asked what she could do to help him, he said nothing. I fucking hate this. I resent having to do it, and it is physically beating the crap out of both Jess and I.
It's my office day, and I feel horrible for leaving Jess to deal with him alone. I have to, because I'm out of sick days, but I really don't want to. I'm going to spend the whole day anxious. I'm worried. I mean, Jess mostly takes care of him when I'm working, but on my breaks, I do come out and help them with changing him and refilling his juice and what not. I'm not sure how this is going to go.
Work should be fairly quiet today. To the best of my knowledge, I'll just be doing my markets. So that'll be good. I won't have to concentrate much. Tomorrow is the big project--hanging the new TV in dad's room. Should be fun. I don't have anything much scheduled this weekend, except playing in a game thatpoisontaster is running. I thought about running a one shot tomorrow, but I think we need a little more time to get in a routine before I try that.
Last night, we finished uppoisontaster's excellent Monster of the Week game. It was a blast and I had so much fun! I was sorry to see it end!
Okay, time to get myself together to go into the office. Everyone have an amazing Thursday!
