It's morning! It's early! Ugh. I didn't really want to get up, but I did, eventually. Today is going to be a long, boring day if I had to guess. We had a lot of delivery updates that came in at 4, so I think most of the morning is going to be spent trying to catch up on them. Hopefully, my minions will come ready to work. I don't mind pulling the updates, but I kind of hate actually doing updates and I'm probably going to have to.
After work, I went over to see Dad, who was in a pisspoor mood. I took him a filet o'fish, which he was pleased with, but he managed to bitch between bites. First, it was I don't know why my sister wanted him to go to the hospital. My dude, you couldn't push yourself upright in the chair, and you had pneumonia and a 103 degree fever! I pointed this out and the reply was "whatever." Then, it was onto how we sent a shirt that was too tight, his food is bad, and his bed is hard. I was ready to smack him. I managed to stay about an hour and a half before I had to go. It was either that or commit patricide. I feel a little bad that I didn't hang out longer, but I just could not do it. Tonight is my sister's night, so that'll be good.
Tomorrow is an in-office day, but it's a little exciting, since my manager is driving all the way down from NYC to see us. He's been my manager for over 2 years, so it'll be nice to finally meet him. I was supposed to be off, but when he told us he was coming down, I gave the day back so I could be there.
I'm waiting for the clock to tick to seven so I can register for my DAS pass at Disney. It's a disability access pass that'll let me avoid the long lines on a couple of rides per park. Which will be good for my anxiety, which is why I'm doing it. I get anxious when I'm stuck in place with a lot of people around, which is kind of what the pass was made for.
Okay, time to go put on pants so I'm not chatting with Disney in my nightgown. I'm sure they've seen worse, but I'd rather not be one of them. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!
