beanside | "If food is grounding, I'm down in the dirt."

So, for our one month anniversary (and because the vacation was so stressful with the car dying and such), we decided to go to The Melting Pot, our local fondue restaurant.

It's kind of pricey, but well worth it. We decided to treat ourselves, and had the "Fondue Feast." It was a four course meal, beginning with a cheddar cheese fondue where we dipped bread, veggies and apples. So good! Then, salads, very tasty. Then, the meat. When I looked at their menu, I assumed that we'd be picking a few meats from the list. Surely no one would give you all five of them! Ooops. They brought an enormous platter, which contained about eight medium shrimp, one lobster tail, the equivilent of one large piece of sirlon steak with terriyaki marinade, chicken (About the size of one large breast) and a large pile of filet mingon medallions. This was to be cooked in our large pot o' wine sauce. Then, our fourth course was an amazing hot buttered rum fondue, which contained white chocolate, brown sugar, nutmeg, and of course, dark rum. So good! They brought us a large selection of things to dip in the chocolate, ranging from strawberries to brownies. Of special note were the banannas, which were transformed into small round orgasms, and the slice of cheescake, which turned the above into a multiple. *grin*

As we were sitting there after the meal, groaning with each movement, Jess looked at me and uttered the subject line. She then broke me, by following it up with: "I am at one with the universe. Oink." This was accompanied by vague waving. I think she has a future as a television psychic. She's got the moves down.

I just got swatted for that. Then, she corrected my grammer. Must be love.

I think we've reached a new level tonight. A special place, spiritually, ecclesiastically, grammatically. And now, as soon as I stop feeling like such a fucking weeble wobble, we have sex. Whoa, I'm random. And probably giving you all way more info than you want. But I have the keyboard on this entry and you don't, so you will read every damn word I have to say...or you'll hit the back key. Whichever. I'm sooooooo full. And I love the world right now...though, that may be the rum. Or the sugar. Whichever. Mwwwwah!
