beansideMonday time! I spent all night with a kitty sleeping on my stomach. Boodle is really enamored of the new bed. If we're horizontal, there's a good chance she'll be climbing on us. It's very sweet and cute. Jess thinks that she didn't like that in our room, she couldn't see what was going on, and so it made her skittish. Now that she can see everything, she parks herself on us and doesn't move. I'm a little stiff from laying in one position all night, but she's very relaxing, except when you need to get up and hit the bathroom. She is very persistent and does not want to move.
I ended up with a bit of a headache and gave up on work early so I could take a little nap before game. I didn't really sleep, but it did help the headache, so it worked out. I'd gotten all my work done, so it's not like I was leaving things for other people to do. Today, J is out, so I will probably be bored as hell, since our markets don't usually come in until after we leave. I may work the pending returns queue, I may not, we'll see.
I ended up cancelling the travel agent network I had signed up with as after further research, it became obvious that it was cleverly disguised multi level marketing bullshit. I'm looking at other options, so I still plan to be a travel agent, it just might take a little bit longer. I'm looking at Disney Authorized Travel Agents. The first one I tried wanted you to have stayed at 4 different properties in 5 years, so that was out, but I still have hope.
Last night, we played MotW, and it was a great time. The party continues to reap what they sow, as enemies far and wide are plotting. This week, they were on the hunt for kidnapped werewolves. Was it the impostor Divine mayor? The Varangian Guard? The O'Shaunessy crime family?
After some investigation, they realized that it was a combination of the deputy mayor and the Guard. The deputy mayor called a press conference for the next day, putting a time limit on their rescue. They investigated a cemetery and found one of the werewolves buried alive. The other two remain missing. Once the drugs they'd been pumping him full of burned off, the werewolf said that he was somewhere cold, but he was too much trouble, so they moved him to the cemetery. They said they only had to keep him alive til tomorrow.
They surmise that the others are being held at the Giant Eagle store, and prepare to go storm the castle, and foil the mayor's evil plan. We left it there and will pick up in two weeks!
Okay, time for me to get ready for work. Everyone have a great Monday!
