Monday! And thus begins a long week of possibly futile anticipation. According to my interviewer, I should hear something this week. We shall see, but I'm going to be jumping at every email and phone call, I know that much. I've kind of made my peace with it. I'll be very sad if the answer is no, but I will deal. if the answer is yes, you'll hear the shrieking. I did start making a list of places we could go for date night if I do get it. I want something with really good food, but still casual dress, because I do not feel like wearing a dress.
Today will be horribly boring as I have no markets to do, and they usually don't come in until around 5, after I've left. I am not a fan of Mondays. Maybe not!manager will have a project. (Not!manager is S, who was my remote manager from Staten Island, until we got someone in the Baltimore office. She has since left, but rather than giving us back to S, who works the same shift, they gave us to C, who works Tues-Thurs. S is still there for anything we need, but he doesn't give us feedback or anything. Since I absolutely adored S, this is annoying. I would have much rather gone back on his team. I like C. She's very nice, but I don't know her. She seems to be a much better manager than the one between S and C, who I did not mesh with at all.
Yesterday, I felt kind of blah. Whether that was the vestibular migraine kicking up or the fact that I forgot to take my morning pills is up for debate. I remembered them this morning, so we'll see how it goes. Part of either the vestibular migraine or my anxiety seems to be eye twitches, and they are driving me up a wall. I keep getting a little twitch in the top eyelid, right above the pupil. It's deeply obnoxious.
I made a pork loin glazed with orange elderflower marmalade last night. It took WAY longer to cook than Chef Google suggested, but in the end, it was really good. I wasn't sure, but I actually really liked it. Score one for IKEA's interesting jam varieties.
Okay, on that note, I suppose it's time to get myself together. Plus, my laptop battery is on 7%, since I haven't charged it since Friday morning, so I should probably plug it in. Everyone have the best Monday you can have!
