beanside | Walking on the streets its really all the same

We have made it to Friday! Heading into a mostly quiet weekend for us. We do have a game tomorrow, but aside from that, nothing going on.

Yesterday was pretty much a wash. Work was annoying, but steady, and I didn't hear any more about the interview. Originally, M's interview was still scheduled, but when she contacted them to ask what conference room it would be in, they cancelled it. Sent her the exact same email they sent me. So, we're both in limbo.

I don't really know what to think about it. On one hand, it did say it would be rescheduled. On the other, it gave absolutely no timeline as to when or with who. It feels like a brush off, much as I hate to think it. My suspicion is that the timeline has been pushed back and they're not ready, but that's just a guess. It's just the usual shitty communication, and it's annoying me.

I ended up leaving work early and laying down because my head was just absolutely killing me. I laid down just in time for a massive storm to come through and knock out our power for five hours, which was awesome. We're supposed to have more storms today, so hopefully they're not as bad.

For some reason, this morning, I could not sleep in. Woke up at 4am for no apparent reason and just could not doze back off.

No real plans for today. Just relaxing, making dinner. I'll do a run through on the module that I'm running for Jess' friends tomorrow and see if I want to do any adjustments to it. It relies more heavily on puzzles, which is not necessarily my thing, so I may switch a couple of things up, but we'll see.
