beansideMonday and the internet is again being a bitch. It's so slow and stalling out every five minutes. It's driving me crazy. I'll definitely be calling Tmobile when I get done at the doctors, because this is just ridiculous. It's been three mornings out of the past five, and that's too many.
Today is my neurology appointment, and I'm anxious about it. There's always the "will they take me seriously" worry, and then this time I've also got a few things I want to talk about, and I'm afraid they'll see it as too many things, and brush me off or want to make me come in repeatedly for it. When it comes down to it, there's really only two things that need to be addressed today. My migraines, while annoying, are infrequent and pretty stable. I can wait on those. On the other hand, the dizziness is pretty important, and so is my neck. Many, many moons ago, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. The big symptom of it is pain and muscle spasms. It had improved for a long time (nearly 6 years), but lately, it's been hurting again, and I've been having more spasms, so I'd like to get it checked out. Hopefully, the doctor is not a dick, and will check it out.
The dizziness has improved since it first started. I'm just having occasional waves, instead of it being constant, so I'm not as concerned about that. Plus, according to the vestibular therapist, my inner ear is not the greatest, so we probably have our culprit there.
I have my appointment, then I have work at noon. We have a meeting about "exciting changes" coming to the center, so that'll eat up an hour and a half of my shortened day. I don't expect any of the changes to affect our dept, so it's mostly just a nothing burger of a meeting.
Okay, going to go get myself together, since I actually have to wear clothes. Ugh. How do you people?
