It's Tuesday! Whoo. I don't know why that's exciting. I guess because we're creeping through the week towards days off.

Yesterday, I rocked the inbox. I kept it at zero until the end of the day when my manager had something for me to do for him, so I slacked off the last half hour. Still ended up with only 5 emails, so not too bad. None of my markets came in before I left, so I just had the one focus.

Today, I shall do my markets and then probably be bored, barring another project. At least a couple of people I talk to are in today, so I can amuse myself with that. Plus, there's always youtube.

When I get bored, I tend to put on walkthroughs of various foreign cities. Its soothing, and I get to see some cool architecture. At the moment, I'm watching one of Stockholm's Gamla Stan neighborhood. It seems so cool, yet touristy as hell. Kind of reminds me of the French Quarter in New Orleans in that way. Touristy or not, I had the best food I ever have had on Bourbon Street at Redfish Grill And it was fish no less. I'm not a huge fish fan, but they made a believer out of me.

We're supposed to have a huddle today to talk about the realignment of our department. I guess this is when everyone finds out who their new manager is. That should be a real shitshow. No one is going to be happy to lose our current manager. I'm certainly not.

We also are having "Town Hall Meetings" to discuss upcoming changes. The first was yesterday, and we got all the dirt already. The new "cooperative workplace" thing is going to be us going into the office one day a week and working from home the rest of the time. We'll have laptops that we'll have to schlep back and forth, with docking stations to hook it to the dual monitors. Honestly, it's better than I expected. I was thinking 3 days a week, so one is not bad. We won't get to pick the day we go in. I'm hoping for Sunday to get it over with. Plus then, Jess won't be forced to get up early one day a week. My meeting isn't til tomorrow, so I won't get the official word until then. This isn't supposed to start right away. First we need to do the great equipment migration, and hopefully wait for Covid to quiet down a little more.

Reality is that as restrictions loosen, we'll probably have days added to that one, until we're back in the office full time, so I'll enjoy it while I can.

Both federal and local taxes have been accepted, so hopefully, I get some money soon, so I can pay off a couple of bills.

Okay, gonna go get myself ready for work. Also, more coffee. Have a good Tuesday everyone!
