beansideAs usual for a day off, I was up at 6:30. Ugh. Jess wasn't far behind me, as they were up at 7. Neither of us is doing the sleep in thing right now. So, instead we're sitting on the couch as I prepare to hit the online Black Friday sales.
I found a nice little Chromebook for my sister from Acer, so hopefully she likes that. I'll get her one or two little things to go with it, but that and her coat are going to be the main presents. Of course the coat I'll probably give her early, as she has been wearing a fairly lightweight sweater, and it's getting fucking cold out there.
Aside from that, not much on the list of plans today except for a trip downtown to pick up dinner. We're going to order from Fogo de Chao, and have a really nice meal. Steak ftw! Dad is getting the salmon filet, which I'm sure will be equally as good, but I want the nice ribeye. We'll probably make a trip to the dispensary at some point, so Jess can get a good haul, too.
Yesterday was a mostly quiet day. As I posted, the turkey was amazing. The sides, slightly less so. But all in all, it was a good meal. Dad ate everything on his plate, so it couldn't have been too bad. I hit the turkey around 11am, and snacked on it throughout the day, and the rest of them had their meal early around 4. The stuffing from Wegmans didn't go that far, so Jess made some Stovetop stuffing, and they and I had a big bowl each. Salty, but oh so good.
We did watch the first episode of Hawkeye which was very promising. We'll probably watch the next episode today or tomorrow.
Okay, it's time for me to go forth and buy some shit. Have a good day everyone!
