And somehow, we're back to Monday. But again, it's a Monday of a short week. Monday is usually a quiet boring day, but today I have a project that should take me a little while to do, so that's something.
Yesterday, I had my markets done by 10am, so the rest of the day until the project came in was mostly boring. I could have worked on the inbox, but the two people who were assigned are notorious for not working, and so I was asked not to, so my manager could gauge their productivity. There was a lot of youtube videos watched instead, let me tell you. Yet again, I have no idea how they plan to measure our productivity. But I get all my stuff done, so I think that should count.
Today should be quiet, I think. The project is pretty mindless, so I'll just plod along on that until it's done, which shouldn't take the whole day, especially if I get a little help on it. And since my manager wants to give me opportunities to manage people, I'll probably have help. Then, I believe I shall make chicken stir fry for dinner. I have a new recipe for the sauce that looks good, and it's an easy dinner. I cheat a lot, though. I tend to cook the frozen cut up veggies in the microwave so the whole thing doesn't take long to make.
Watching the news this morning, I'm yet again grateful that I don't have to try to travel anywhere for the holidays. Between Covid and the normal travel nightmare, I used to hate trying to get out for Thanksgiving.
I'm starting to think about next year's vacation, debating where to go. We had considered going back to Busch Gardens and that is definitely still on the table, but I want to consider other options, too. Anywhere within 4-5 hours of Baltimore is a possibility, so we'll have to do some narrowing down.
It's a short one today, not much going on in casa beanside. Everyone have a great Monday!
