Nothing like waking up an hour before your alarm. I just laid in bed, refusing to get up before my tablet chirped at me.
I seem to be completely over the Covid shot aside from the local side effects. It still hurts to the touch and itches like a motherfucker. (And of course, if I scratch it, it hurts.) I've been taking some Benadryl and that seems to help with the itching a little.
Work was deadly dull yesterday. There were a few things to do, but not much, so mostly, I sat there and surfed the internet on my phone. One of my markets finally came in about five minutes before I left for the day, so I'll have that to do this morning. It probably won't take that long, but we'll see.
Still no word from the interview. I'm trying to stay positive, but the longer it stretches out, the more I think I'll be getting the kiss off email. Either way, I hope I get an answer soon.
Jess was feeling kind of blah yesterday, so we rescheduled their Covid shot for a week out. They did have their weed recert, which took all of three minutes. The doctor seemed amused that they were such a lightweight.
Dad is driving me crazy. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot that I cook that he likes. Last night, I told him we were having pork chops, and his reply was "Again?" I did not choke him, which was an accomplishment. Tonight, it'll be chicken again, so he won't be happy about that, either. Basically, if there's not sugar in it, he's not interested. It's maddening, when we do our best to make sure we make something nutritious, and he will just pick at it and then an hour later want a Nutter Butter. And god forbid we don't have sugar in the house. The whining is intense. I don't think there's a solution, really. I'm just complaining.
Okay, going to go get more coffee and think about getting dressed for work. Everyone have a good Tuesday!
