Day two post Covid shot and I'm upright. Going to take it easy again today, I think. I still have a little fever, but nowhere near as bad as it was, and the pervasive nausea has eased up. Verdict: not as bad as the second shot, but still pretty full of suck.

Yoda was especially sweet while I was down for the count. I swear, that dog was seriously up my ass all day. If I was sitting on the couch, he was next to me, pressed against my side. If I was laying down, he was in the bed with me. Cynical me says he just enjoyed the extra body heat, but I think he was trying to comfort me.

Around 4:30, I gave up and went to bed, because I was cold and tired and aching all over. That seems to have helped. And my sister had kindly gotten me a McRib last night, so that was a nice breakfast surprise.

Today, Yoda is on his way for his day of beauty, which is good. He's getting very shaggy and disreputable. (Also, just in the nick of time, as yesterday, he got poopy butt. It all fell off, so I don't feel horrible about sending him to his groomer, but it's time for a shave.)

Okay, I have babbled enough for the morning. Another short one. Maybe tomorrow I'll have something interesting to report. Maybe not. Have a good Saturday y'all.
