beanside | Ride with the moon in the dead of night

It's Thursday, which is like my Friday! Unfortunately, it's also my day to get my booster Covid shot. I'm really, really dreading it. Everything I've read says that the reaction is comparable to the second shot. Downside, the second shot really sucked for me. Fever, vomiting, aches. Plus the nice bonus of having insomnia the night I get it. So, we shall see how it goes. I'm going to be a big girl and get it, because I want to give myself the best chance of not getting Covid again, but damn.

Yesterday was quiet at work. The delivery updates were minimal, so most of the day I really had nothing to do. I got my markets done with no problem. Today should be even quieter. I'll have less to do, since the person whose markets I normally do will be available to do them. (She works the delivery updates three days out of the week, and I do her markets, but on Sunday and Thursday, someone else does the updates, so I just have my two normal markets.)

I am impatiently waiting to hear about the interview. I know it's not reasonable to expect a reply within days, but as I've said before, I am not good at patience.

Not a great deal going on this weekend. I purposely scheduled the shot when I could have two days with nothing to do, so aside from maybe watching GBBO and the rest of Dune, I'm not planning anything.
