Ugh. I did not sleep well at all last night. It's going to be a long day, I think. I have no idea why I couldn't sleep, unless I'm more nervous about the interview than I thought.
Yesterday was a quiet day. Only one of my markets came in, so the rest of the day I kind of faffed about, worked the inbox some and chatted with people a lot. Sundays and Thursday, everyone I actually like is in the office, so I tend to be chatty. It's funny, I probably talk to more people during the course of my day than I did when we were in person. I definitely know my coworkers better.
Then we went to Il Basilico Trattoria. I had the create your own pasta with a creamy pesto over gnocci with shrimp. It was SO good. I was only able to eat half of it, so I have a delicious lunch, too! All of their food is amazing. Definitely recommended.
Today, all the markets will be late, so I'll be putzing around while I wait. Probably will help with the inbox. We'll see.
Then, at 3, interview. It's still not feeling quite real. I mean, I know it is, but I've tried to get this far so many times that it's a little unreal that I finally made it to this stage. I did a little bit of reading on how to ace interviews using the STAR method at my manager's suggestion. I've got my list 'o shit I've done ready to refer to. I've got my recommendation from my manager, which makes the list 'o shit sound far more impressive, so I'm going to have all that open for easy reference. All I can do is my best.
Okay, time for me to mainline some more coffee and try to wake up. Everyone have the best Monday you possibly can!
