beansideEveryone is up this morning. Fortunately, my sister isn't into talky mode quite yet, so I might actually be able to write something comprehensible. Maybe.
Dad has been a real butthead the last couple of days. Just kind of picky and bitchy. I think his antidepressants need to be adjusted, because he doesn't seem to be enjoying his normal stuff as much. Granted, he's seen all his normal stuff a million times, but he also doesn't seem to be seeking out anything new. So, that's something to add to the doctor's appointment in two weeks. Hopefully, she's willing to change his meds rather than terfing him out to a psych.
Yesterday, we watched Great British Bake Off, and part of the new Dune. Wow, that's a movie that takes itself WAY seriously. Very pretty though. So far, it hasn't really grabbed me, but I'm going to keep watching it, if only to take the piss out of it. So far, it seems like the standard "Brown people need a honky to save them" story. Maybe that'll change? We'll see. GBBO was as usual, a nice relaxing show, though I call bullshit on them sending Freya home before George.
Today, dispensary! And tonight Filipino food!
I wasn't sure whether I wanted to mention it here, but I decided what the hell. Another manager job came up on our system, and I applied. And shock of all shocks, I got an interview this time. It's on Monday, so we'll see how it goes. It's just a preliminary interview, but it's more than I've gotten up til now. I'm not really nervous about it yet, but I'm sure as the time draws closer I will be. I usually interview pretty well, I think. My manager wrote me a glowing recommendation full of all the things extra I've done, so I'm sure that helped. I think he's almost more excited than I am about the interview.
