And then, just because this is still my favorite version:
Yesterday was much nicer, being at home in my quiet little office, where Jess could stop by and give me hugs and kisses and the cat was snuggled in behind my monitors. I caught up on the work I didn't do on Tuesday, and all was good. I had enough work to keep me busy most of the day, even. The last hour or so, I was at loose ends, but that wasn't too bad. Of course, having gotten everything done, the first half of today may be a little dead, so I might have to work on the inbox to keep from going spare with boredom.
After some trial and error, I discovered new things about Roll20. We're slowly gearing up for the Beyond the Witchlight game, but my players couldn't access the new characters and what not. It turned out that it doesn't automatically share the content, you have to choose that. So, eventually, I figured it out and corrected it.
Tonight and tomorrow morning, I have the D&D celebration, where I'll be playing with random people. I'm excited and nervous, knowing how D&D fans can sometimes be assholes. I'm a woman, and still kind a newbie player, so we'll see how it goes. It wasn't that expensive, so if I need to duck out, I will. I decided to play a half elf druid, so as bog standard as possible. I figured that gave me a little more leeway to role play.
Tomorrow evening is our regular D&D game, which I am also looking forward to! My little murder muppets will finish out storming the castle, and see if they can find any more loot, and also any more duergar to fight. Then, we'll see what else they can get into. (I'm sure it'll be something!)
