Yesterday's meeting went pretty well. The operational director was very nice, and set up a meeting with the transport company so we can all learn from each other. That's on Monday, so we'll see how that goes. I'll have to go in for an hour on my day off, because Yoda's getting groomed that day, but it'll be worth it to get some of this cleared off.
Our couches have arrived! Apparently the 2-6 time window was more of a nebulous suggestion, as they called at 9:15 to say they were on their way. Fortunately, they arrived just in time for my first break, so we were able to get them in without screwing up my schedule. They look both larger and smaller than they did in the store. Now, we just need to get the old couches out and start assembling. Fortunately, assembly doesn't look too difficult. The real pain is going to be getting the old couches out.
I finally gave up on going to the store and ordered some bras on Torrid.com. If they don't fit, then I'll go to the store to return them. I used a tape measure, so hopefully they'll fit. I also ordered a couple of pairs of bike shorts. I've been wearing capri length leggings for work, but they get hot when I have to go outside. Now I just need to get a couple more t-shirts from Old Navy, and I should be ready for the rest of summer and early fall.
I'm hoping that these will also suffice for vacation, depending on the temperature. I figure it'll either be shorts weather or jeans weather. As it stands, I have enough of both, but I guess we'll see how much weight I lose between now and then.
