Title today comes from Bo Burnham's comedy show, Inside, which is on Netflix. This seemed like it was going to be a gentle sporking of the modern instagram influencers,but then switched into something kind of sweet that's been known to make me tear up on a bad day. So, I give to you, "White Woman's Instagram.

Actually strapped on the big girl panties yesterday and went and cancelled our Planet Fitness memberships. We've been procrastinating on that one since before the pandemic. OF course, then they were closed for a while, and then we just haven't wanted to go indoors. But with Covid starting to go up again, we decided that it was time to get it done. So, that's $40/month we won't owe, which will help. Our YMCA is currently closed for renovations, but once they reopen, I'll cancel that, too.

Then it was off to Walgreens to get more lancets for my fingersticks. Lastly, we stopped at the best snowball stand near us, and picked up snow balls for the famliy. I got my old standby, Egg Custard, as did dad (though he got his with marshmallow). Shelly tried Pina coloda with marshmallow, and Jess tried something new and had Buttercream with marshmallow. (I tried both--they were very good, but I think Jess was on to something with that buttercream!)

Now, I shall go back to work and make money. 46 days til vacation. Everyone have a good Sunday!

I've seen people talking about Bo Burnham, but had never checked him out - I liked this quite a lot. thanks for posting it!

enjoy your small windfall - maybe you can do something fun/useful each month with that little bit of freed up cash

It's funny, I enjoyed his special "Inside," but wouldn't have said I loved it, but then I found myself singing the songs the rest of the week.

I don't know what we'll do with it, but it will be nice!
