Why is morning so early? I slept for crap last night. Woke up at 11:30 convinced it was 4am, and I needed to take my Rybelsus. Had trouble going back to sleep. Woke up again at 2, 3:30 and 4:20. I'd just dozed back off at 6 when my alarm went off and annoyed the shit out of me. Today I'm generally achy and very tired.
Yesterday was generally boring. Updates were really light until the 4pm run, at which time they rained down to the tune of 600, which was more than double what we'd had all day. It was very annoying. On the good side, they'll have plenty to do this morning while they wait for my coworker to get done the updates. It'll be his first attempt, so I'll be spending most of my day helping him, I think. If my markets don't get done, oh well, I'm not going to be too sad.
Tonight, we have the rescheduled text based game of Lasers and Feelings, which will hopefully be a lot of fun. We ended up rescheduling due to my migraine of doom two weeks ago, but tonight's the night. Here's hoping it goes well. I've never run a text game before, but there's a first time for everything.
Oh, yesterday, I got my tickets for Busch Gardens! I still need to get the parking pass, but I'm going to do that a little closer to the date. I've decided to go with the VIP parking, to save our tired feet from having to walk so far. It's more money, but for us, I think it'll be worth it.
I looked, and the park circuit is about 1.7 miles, so that's not as bad as I thought. When we went to DC, we walked about 7 miles, so we can easily do two or three circuits of the park in a day if there's rides we want to go on more than once.
I wish we lived a little closer to the park, so we could go more often. It's such a production to go down, and it really is my favorite park. I'd totally have season passes, especially now that it's open year round. (They do Christmas Town, Mardi Gras, St Patrick's day, then a food and wine festival that I really hope to go to next year.)
Okay, tis time for me to go forth and have more coffee, and maybe get myself together for work. I feel like it's going to be a somewhat frustrating day watching my coworker struggle with shit I could get done in 10 minutes myself. Have a good day, everyone!
