Yesterday was so boring, y'all. The project folder was done, only two smallish markets came in, which took all of 45 minutes for both. The rest of the day was spent taking random managerial training, which was not exactly deeply exciting. There was an hour long one on Leading with Compassion-to yourself. It was excruciatingly cringe (as the kids today say). Like a cut rate therapy session that lasted 55 minutes! They had you do exercises! I did a couple after that, but my heart wasn't in it. So mostly, I sat around bored. Normally, I'd do the inbox or one of the other reports, but they were down in single digits, and all the ones left were spoken for.

After that, I relaxed, made some fried tortillas in butter, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar (so basically déclassé sopapillas). They were pretty tasty, I have to admit, but it's a shame we didn't have any honey. They fit in well to our Taco Tuesday theme. I'm not looking forward to cleaning the fry pan out from the tacos, but that's a problem for future me.

Today, two hour team meeting. We were all worried about it being the "Time to come back to the office" meeting, but people who have had the meeting already said nothing was mentioned, so that's good. It sounds like it's just our yearly building meeting. Which should be thrilling, let me tell you. At least the normal business meeting is followed by some fun game. Two years ago when I was on the committee, we did the Price is Right, which worked out pretty well. This will probably be very dry. Plus, I heard it's a Q&A, which with my team could be painful.

I'm really hating having my half built trike just sitting, waiting for the chain. If it's not too hot on Friday, I might try to build a little more--maybe at least put the front tire on, hook up the brakes? It seems, looking through the stuff that the only thing I can't put on is the gear shift wiring, and the chain guard. But I can at least get some of the little stuff done. If I have problems, it's off to the bike shop to see if they can help, especially if I have trouble figuring out the chain.

Okay, time to get more coffee and try to wake up. Everyone have a good Wednesday!
