beansideI finally got the email yesterday, and I did not get asked to move forward to the next interview for the program. I was very sad about it yesterday, but I'm a little less "woe is me" today. Still unhappy and feeling a little trapped, like I'll never get past what I'm doing right now, but this too shall pass. They sent me a fucking video announcement, which was a little weird, but I guess it was okay?
We finished cleaning the car out. It took a ton of bags, which did not make me feel good about myself. But it's not got a pile of shit in the floor or in the trunk, which is nice. Today, we shall go to the carwash and use the big vacuum, as there's a lot of popcorn from one of the times we brought some home for my sister. But it shall be ready for it's big day!
Today, I shall go get Dad's pain prescription from the doctors, and maybe stop somewhere over there to pick up lunch. Then, I shall come back and watch Loki with Jess. Then dinner from the local pizza and sub shop, then we shall go to the movies! We're doing an advance screening of The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. The first movie was stupid fun, so I have hopes that this one will be the same.
Tomorrow shall be our IKEA adventure! I've never been to the College Park store, which is much larger than the one by me. They actually have the IKEA pets line! The trip is not for us to buy stuff, but I've never made it out of an IKEA without buying something. Alas, the trip is too long for us to buy meatballs and expect them to make it back home still frozen.
All in all, a busy and fun weekend!
