I had another night of waking up in the night and having trouble getting back to sleep. This was aided by the Samwise, who came in several times to say hello. He's already put on a little weight from his new feeding schedule, so it's more noticeable when he lands on your chest. Though frankly, the way he yells hello helps with that, too.
Yesterday was a quiet day. Work was minimal and so the afternoon dragged. I taught one of our coworkers how to do Load Quality Reports, which is where the transport company sends us messages on orders that arrive with items missing or damaged. I hate doing them, so training on them was a special hell. But it gave the coworker something to do. Thankfully, my markets arrived soon after, so I didn't have to do them long.
My sister was planning to cook out, but got home late from doing laundry and was tired, so we did little hotdogs wrapped in crescent rolls. They were a big hit with Dad, who actually had seconds. That's probably the first time he's asked for more in a month, so they will definitely go on the regular rotation. He's got a toddler's palate, I swear.
Tonight, we shall have pork chops breaded and fried up. I remembered to get some breadcrumbs, because what we had in the cupboard expired in 2019 (whoops).
Okay, more coffee now, and getting myself ready for work in an hour. Happy Tuesday, y'all.
