beansideAnother mostly boring day at work yesterday. I got all my shit done before my first break. (IKEA gives two fifteen minute breaks, and a half hour lunch, which I appreciate.) I spent the rest of the day poking at things idly. Had a brief project, calling a pissed off customer, but he didn't pick up. I was okay with that. Asshole has been not at home for four delivery attempts, but they didn't come today and now he's pissed. Normally, we cancel the order after three attempts, so he's damn lucky he might still get it.
Another development during work is that the HVAC people called, and we have an inspection scheduled for today! This, of course, can be anywhere between eight am and three pm, so I had to get up early to be ready. Hopefully, we'll pass no problem, and we can move to the next step. I want a hot shower, and not to be freezing all the time.
Once the paycheck hit, I bought a new bluetooth headset to use for TTRPGs. I've been using a pair of earbuds with microphone, but sometimes my sound is a little choppy on that, so hopefully, this solves the problem. It comes on Sunday, so I'll have the week to try it out. Thankfully, I can hook up on discord with Jess and see if it works. Hopefully, it's comfortable. It got good ratings, at least, so we'll give it a try.
Now to wait for the inspector. Here's hoping he comes early.
