Is it nap time yet? My psych practice is still apparently in disarray after my doctor passed this fall, and it's impacting me getting my pills. I called last week, but never got an answer, and nothing was called in. I called yesterday, and still haven't gotten a call back, and I am down to one Ambien. I took half of one last night, and didn't sleep for shit, so I am very anxious. I was willing to do an appointment, but it hasn't even been offered. I'm going to call them back this morning and see what's going on. I'm trying to be understanding, but dudes, it's been like four months. Get your shit together, and tell me who my new doctor's going to be.

As a result, today is going to be a coffee and plenty of it kind of day. Hopefully, work will be mostly quiet, so I can kind of surf along. Part of me feels a little bad about that, but then I remind myself that any other day I'm busting my ass, so I get over it.

I've been re-reading the Run Verse which is probably one of my favorite series on Ao3. The premise is that Darcy from Thor is actually Tony Stark's daughter, and how that interacts with the MCU cannon. Liking it kinda depends on your feelings for Darcy, I suppose. I think next, I'll reread This, You Protect. Though there will be a break for the new Seanan McGuire portal fantasy Across the Green Grass Fields.

And now, I shall go forth and have more coffee.

Oh, I love both the Run 'verse and owlet's whole world with Bucky. I've written so much Darcy over the years that her voice has a little corner of my brain all to itself. I'm looking forward to seeing how she plays into the shenanigans in Wandavision.

I hear you on the med renewal issues--we've had that going on with several people this last year and it is so frustrating. We occasionally have had success with a walk-up appointment at one of the in-store clinics at CVS/Walgreens where the NP does a quick check and then can write a new 'script.

If I can't get them to refill today, I may look into the CVS thing. If it weren't Ambien, I could get my PCP to do it.

I love both those fics so much. And may I say that I'm loving your new Darcy/Steve fic. I'm already mentally mashing them together and going "Now kiss."

Oh, thank you! It's giving me something amusing to focus on when reality gets to be too much, but they really are taking their time to get to the kissing!

four months should be plenty of time to get vaguely organized and deal with little things like renewing prescriptions. I hope you can get through and get things sorted!
