I've been piddling around with nail polishes lately. Jess got me hooked, and like her, it's an easy thing to do for self-care when I'm down on myself.
I've been looking at tutorials, and decided, with
poisontaster's donation of a glass bowl last weekend, to try water marbling. This is what I ended up with. I'm kind of in love with it. It wasn't as difficult as I thought, either. I can't wait to try more colors.

Date: 2012-09-06 10:18 pm (UTC)Have you tried dry water marbling? It's similar and I know for me I made less of a mess. You do it similar to the regular water marbling but after you make your swirly patterns you take a ziploc or ziploc type baggie and press it into the water. When that drys you can transfer the patterns to your nails.
Here's the link to the site I read before I grabbed some ziploc bags and went crazy.
