I've been piddling around with nail polishes lately. Jess got me hooked, and like her, it's an easy thing to do for self-care when I'm down on myself.
I've been looking at tutorials, and decided, with
poisontaster's donation of a glass bowl last weekend, to try water marbling. This is what I ended up with. I'm kind of in love with it. It wasn't as difficult as I thought, either. I can't wait to try more colors.

Date: 2012-09-10 08:35 pm (UTC)This was the one that didn't work, my first attempt where I screwed up the bullseye and then screwed up the flower worse, and ended up just swirling it all round in a fit of the pouts, and dunking the plastic in it just to get it out of the cup. And it dried so pretty I just had to put it on my nails! Looks like pricy art-enamel jewellery, no?
I may be a little obsessed with this. I'm blaming you. And
