I've been piddling around with nail polishes lately. Jess got me hooked, and like her, it's an easy thing to do for self-care when I'm down on myself.

I've been looking at tutorials, and decided, with [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster's donation of a glass bowl last weekend, to try water marbling. This is what I ended up with. I'm kind of in love with it. It wasn't as difficult as I thought, either. I can't wait to try more colors.

I cannot WAIT to try that. Thank you so much for the link! IT looks much easier. and less messy. (Seriously, green polish on Jess' boob-I don't even know how we managed it.)

Hee! It was definitely less messier. I think I had more fun making the designs than putting them on my nails.

I just saw this other technique I had to look up while on Pinterest. (Pinterest is the best time suck ever)

This one is called the saran wrap technique and I think I'm going to try it next.
