That's a good idea, the being ex-military & owning a shooting range. Very good way to get a woman into weapons & the hunting culture; she could ease into hunting herself if it wasn't part of her family's background. It would give her a cover for having all those weapons around & for knowing these suspicious-looking guys who come 'round her place all the time. She'd be physically confident, strong, and capable, too, in part because of the military training.

Like I said to nilchance over there-Queen Latifah and Angela Bassett, ftw! Queen Latifah would know just what to do with Dean (and boy, would he enjoy *that*). Angela could handle Sam. He wouldn't know what hit him, maybe, but she'd handle him. *is amused*

Both of those women would provide diversity, style, looks, and believable huntin' builds and attitudes to the show. And think of the fics we'd get out of that...

I absolutely LOVE Angela Basset. She's so hot and always plays this strong independent women. And time kind of stopped for her because she looks just as good now as she did in Strange Days, where she kicked ass like nobody's business. Sara Ramirez is awesome too.

You know who else we need? Michelle Yeoh. Good actress, and a genuine martial artist who does her own stunts-you should see her thighs, she could crush a man's ribcage in there. She was a Bond Girl, too. *smirks*

I just got home from the bookstore, where I passed by a graphic novel starring She-Hulk. I couldn't help but wonder what Sam 'n Dean would think of *her*. Sam wouldn't have to worry about crushing her and Dean...well, she's hot. That's all he needs to know.


I like the variety in this picspam even more as I look it over. We were all originally talking about female hunters, but I think we can broaden to just realistic and interesting, attrative women in general. We need female psychics, villains, flirty waitresses, park rangers, FBI agents, truck drivers, etc.

One thing about Jennifer Garner *points to pic* is that we know she *can* do the stunts because she's made a career of doing them. And she has an air of vulnerability about her that is appealing.

I'm trying to think of others, but it's been so long since I've gone to the movies that all I can think of is older woman like...Anjelica Huston (because I love The Grifters, in particular). I'd say Cher because I like her attitude and sass, but she's had too much work done, which should disqualify her. Crap. Hmm. Cate Blanchett, who's a fine actress and beautiful...I think she should be possessed or cursed or something. Really play against that radiantly calm and collected look she has.

Nope, that's it. I'll second anyone's suggestions but I just can't think of anyone...oh, what about the Borg Queen, what's her name? ...Alice Krige. Don't know if you'd think she's "hot", but she's got an interesting look that adapts to alien-type makeup/prosthetics very well; and she's got a *lot* of presence.
