And it's Monday again! Yesterday was strange. I was texting with a friend in the call center who said that shit wasn't on fire yet. I was figuring it wouldn't until maybe Wednesday or Thursday. They'll be able to manage for a couple of days, certainly. Unless my former team lead gets the new job. Then it's going straight off the rails, no stopping, no passing go. It was odd to be off on a Sunday. The new schedule is going to take some getting used to.

One thing that's definitely going to take getting used to is needing to pack a lunch 5 days a week. I don't even know what people actually pack. Honestly, 70% of the time, I just ordered doordash when I was in the office, but that's not really a possibility for five days a week. Plus, I have no clue when or how long our lunch is going to be for. Day 1, I'm considering a sub from wawa, but beyond that I have no clue. I've been trying to make a walmart order fo easy breakfasts and lunches, but I'm kind of stymied.

Part of it is that I don't know what the break room is like. It's a brand new building, very swanky. The call center part is gorgeous.. But whether they have an equally nice break room, or whether there's good coffee, no clue. Will I have fridge access? Good question! Apparently they had an open house back in early August, but I of course just kind of stumbled over the job posting last minute, so I've only seen the three rooms I was in for the test, to get the results, and then the interview. I'm assuming you don't spend $50 million to cheap out on the facilities, but who knows? (They better have good coffee, that's all I'm saying.).

I'm trying to think of what I'll need to do over the next few months as well. With my schedule being uncertain for the moment, I'm trying to think what I can do now. I'm definitely going to get winter tires this year. Since I'll be an essential employee, I'll be going in no matter what the weather is like, so I want the car to be ready. I'm hoping for another mild winter, but you never know. Also, I need to get a spare tire for the car, and a car emergency pack. My commute isn't that long, but it's further than I'm going now. I set up for a hair cut in a couple of weeks, though I may bump that sooner. The sides are starting to stick out a bit, and it's annoying me.

Aside from that, I'm not thinking of much. I'm going to make myself a google doc to do list so I can add to it as time goes on and things come to my mind.

Okay, going to go forth and get myself together for the day. Everyone have a lovely Monday!
