Yesterday was just not my day. After the contact by Fuck that Guy, I went to work, and found my computer was lagging to the point that it was basically unusable. So, I called IT. They played with it for a little while remotely, then told me that I'd have to come into the office to get a new box.
So, I took everything apart, and got dressed to go in. Not what I wanted to do when I woke up. I worked there for 4 hours, for them to send me home with a computer that refuses to find my Tmobile wifi, and has the wrong ports for my monitors. So, it's back to the office today, which does not make me happy.
Add to that, anything minor that could go wrong did. Put the chicken into the oven with breast side down so it wasn't ready on time? Sure. Get stuck in traffic so it took forever to get home, sure. Get frustrated with Dad's deafness and scream a reply at him, hurting his feelings? Of course. It was just one of those days. By the end of it, I was just fried, and done. Totally done.
I did all my markets yesterday, so I'll have nothing to do this morning, which is great while you're in the office with all the managers. I'll just have to find busywork, I suppose. If they can get me setup in the morning, I'll probably try to go home at lunch.
But today is going to be better, right? I refuse to end the day as pissy as I was last night. I look cute in one of my new tops from Torrid. I'm going to go in and do my thing, and get a computer that will recognize my wifi, and hopefully, leave at lunch and get my shit plugged back in and be online in 30 minutes. The chicken is cooked, so we'll have that for dinner tonight with stuffing and gravy, and it will be fine.
I'm still in a kind of cranky mood, but hopefully, it'll get better as the day goes on. I'm going to take some ibuprofen, and maybe stop at Starbucks on the way to work, and get a latte as a treat.
Okqy, I'm going to stop bitching now and get my ass in gear. Have a good Wednesday everyone!
