I was in bed by 9, since as an employee of a giant Swedish furniture chain, I have to work today. On the plus side, time and a half pay!
I’m training to fill a new job, which seems like a lot of waiting. Waiting for the transport companies to send us updates, mostly. Today is going to be boring as fuck, since they’re probably closed.
I’ve been watching The Mandolorian. So far, I’ve enjoyed it, but it’s not like I must binge it. I’ve been averaging an episode every couple of days.
We finally went and saw Rise of the Skywalker. I had a lot of quibbles with it, and I totally see where a lot of my friendslist was coming from with the problems they had. Still, I enjoyed the movie I could see lurking underneath. A lot of my problems with it were obvious work arounds for Carrie Fishers’ death, and it seems petty to hold those against it.
Anyhow, wishing everyone the best of possible New Years. Here’s hoping we end 2020 in a better state than today.
