You've probably seen this on everyone's LJ already. But...I'm an enormous Queen fan. Freddy Mercury is the best singer and performer I have ever seen, full stop.
Adam is a close second. He pushed Garth Brooks into third.
I think Freddy would be proud to know that in some way, he lives on. And he's embodied in what he always wanted to be--an out, and apologetically proud gay man. With, y'know, a voice that could crack glass. *grin*
