You have made the last 35 days fly by as you posted your chapters of this excellent epic. The characterization of Dean is painfully true and his adventures during his amnesia were an enlightening view of his character that felt like the veneer had been stripped away, leaving the essential hunter. Your Sam and John were also wonderful, especially John, who often seems to get a raw deal in fanfic. It is difficult to get me to sympathize with his paternal feelings towards his sons, Dean especially, given his canon track record, but your story allows love along with the warrior training that I found unnerving and endearing.

Your work has given me what really good fanfic should give a reader: a look into the internal feelings and motivations of the characters while remaining totally plausible and in sync with canon. The emotional impact of your story to me is one that I am going to have to work through - possibly I can be more coherent with praise about it after the third or fourth rereading. I sincerely hope that there will be a sequel and that you will begin it soon, as your work is addictive and I crave more.
