beansideIt's day 3 post surgery, and I'm up early. Jess seems to be doing well. Their pain level hasn't been high, and they've been doing really well, though I know that they're frustrated that all they can do is nap and idly scroll. It's so much better than I expected them to be. And they look fabulous, even with the swelling and bruising. I'm really looking forward to the great unveiling on Thursday.
We're hoping that they can get their drains out on Thursday and be all done with appointments for a little while.
Tomorrow, I'll go back to work, while also checking on them regularly. Should be fun.
Today, I go at 11:15 to get my roots done. I had my hair cut on Friday and it cut out most of the color on the sides and back. I'm trying out the Madison Reed color bar for the first time, so we'll see how that goes. I just want my red hair on the sides and back. Their dye holds up pretty well. The longer hair on top is still just as red as it was when we started out. (I do use Overtone to condition, which is supposed to help keep it bright, so maybe that's it.
Today, we shall do not a whole lot aside from that. It'll be lovely.
We got some magnetic hooks for the ship, and discovered that those fuckers are seriously handy. We used one on our door to put up a fall wreath, and will switch it to a spooky season wreath soon. The pot holders are hung on the fridge, looking neat and tidy.
I also got some more fleece tops, which are super snuggly and warm. Now, I just need more leggings and socks. And some sort of cover up for the pool. I don't fancy walking back from the Thermal spa or pool in just sandals and a bathing suit.
I also need said sandals/flip flops and maybe some more t-shirts. Both long and short sleeve.
Okay, Jess just got up, so time to hop off and chat with them. Everyone have an amazing Sunday!
