beansideIt's Saturday, and I'm up at ass o'clock. Go team me. Boodle woke me up to demand food and I just couldn't get back to sleep.
Jess is doing well so far with recovery. Between the pain meds that the doctor gave them and some edibles, their pain is a 5/10 or better. They're taking it easy, and not overdoing it, but all in all, they say that they've had worse periods than this. I know today and tomorrow are supposed to be the two roughest days, so we'll see how they do.
The worst of it is not being able to do things, I think. But it's only for a few weeks.
Yesterday, I watched some videos, and then I fucked around online, and then I went and got my hair cut. It's very short, and cute. Downside, I really needed to get my roots colored. So now, half my hair is red, half is gray. I made an appt to get my roots touched up on Sunday by the Madison Reed colorists. Their dye is super pricey, but it really does cover the gray. So you can either order the stuff to come to your house, and that's about $39. Or you can pay $45 and have them do it. I hate doing my roots, so I am happy to allow them.
Today, we have nothing planned. I'm hoping to find a couple of videos that I can keep my sister interested so that she doesn't show us every tik tok that comes across her feed. I love her, but sometimes she's so interactive.
Tomorrow, also nothing. I'm going to try to find some videos about the excursions, because I still don't know what I want to do. And there's only 234 to decide!
But on that note, Jess is now awake and I shall go dote. Everyone have a singular Saturday!
