beansideToday's subject line comes from a movie trailer. It 100% made me excited about that year's Mission Impossible. And it had Henry Cavil and his great punch reloading, which was hilarious.
It's Thursday! Two more days to the lovely weekend. I'm not working at all. the only thing I need to do is take the dog to the groomer on Saturday. We have one game on Saturday and that's it for the weekend. We'll have to see if we can afford to do something. My sister is going to the BILs for Mother's Day, so it would have to be after game on Saturday if we do.
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Busy, but not ungodly so. I had my Quality meeting, where I continue to be solidly middle of the pack. I had a few spots to fill in for high value appointments.
I also mentioned in passing to the head of Radiology that I appreciated that they had given some templates for stuff that we email for regularly, because I was able to create signatures with them in outlook, and it was speeding up those emails. Apparently, that's not something everyone knows how to do. Her little mind was blown, and I have been invited to the manager's meeting tomorrow to present my idea, and probably to present to the team. So that'll be fun.
I didn't think it was earthshaking, but apparently it is? So, that could be fun.
I would also like to advocate for people being trained to look at the schedule so that they stop scheduing in the middle of a block. Like for cardiac MRIs, most sites do 2-3 a day. So they allow 2-3 hours. When you have a 2 hour block, say from 9-11, and the appts are an hour long, scheduling at 9:30 kills that block. Thats an hour appt that I could have scheduled and now can't. And then, I end up calling the patient to move them thirty minutes one way or another. And it's a thing that drives us all crazy.
Today, I have work, and then I must go to the office of Vital Records to get a death certificate for my mother so we can sell the freaking house. She's been dead for 10 years, so I'm not sure why we need it, but they are requiring, so off I go.
Okay, time to do some more work on game and then think about pants. Also need to decide what baked goods I'm making at lunch. Everyone have a astounding Thursday!
