Bored now. *sigh* I hate having to work on holidays like this. It's always deathly quiet in the office, and I have nothing to do. I should write a bit, and I probably will, but right now, I'm not in the mood.
Hopefully, the paperwork on the puppy will come through by Wednesday, so we can go get her. Everyone in the family is just so ready to have her with us that the waiting is driving us batshit. The house has just been way too quiet without a puppy. I'm almost tempted to ask them if I could come up and walk her on Wednesday, even if our paper work isn't done by then--get her used to the sound of our voices, and being around us.
Went out Saturday and Sunday night and spent a small fortune on puppy stuff. Thank god for five paycheck months! *grin* Sunday, we also went to Jo-Ann fabrics and got some polar fleece to make her a little sweater out of. She's got that short sleek beagle fur, so I don't want her to get cold!
Jess says that they're going to take away my dyke card, if I keep trying to dress her in cute little outfits. I think it was the green faux fur that did it. If I'm going to keep making her clothes, I may have to get a small cheap sewing machine. I actually kind of enjoy the sewing, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying her sweaters from Petsmart. ($20+ per sweater!).
*whine* I want my puppy now! */whine*
I'm hoping, if we get her nice and social, we'll be able to bring her down to some of the spring and fall coven events, to meet everyone. Koty was just too big, and too neurotic (I swear, the dog was mildly agoraphobic)
Okay, back to not-working now. *snore*
